The Department

Become a member of the Streaming and Digital Products department, responsible for the online presence of multiple products, such as SBS On Demand, SBS News and SBS Audio. We focus on delivering product updates in an iterative fashion and strive for a quality product offering that supports many top tier events, such as the FIFA World Cup, Tour de France and Eurovision.

The Role

Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst, the Business Analyst will play a critical role in delivering the product roadmap for the SBS On Demand, SBS News and SBS Audio products, across several distinct consumer platforms and products. You will assist with bridging the gap between the Product, UX, Engineering and QA teams to distil a product vision into technical requirements that all teams are able to understand. As a result, good communication and understanding between all sides is vital and will be heavily relied on when undertaking these key responsibilities:

• Technical business analysis and requirements gathering
• Contribute to and facilitate technical planning between business and development teams
• Facilitate collaboration across many cross functional teams to deliver on product initiatives

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Software Development field
• Proven background in Digital Media
• Track record of assisting in delivering product requirements and initiatives alongside various stakeholders
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Organised, transparent and understandable
